Tony’s Story

NCIA’s Herbert J. Hoelter Vocational Training Center (VTC)

Tony was an Army veteran with a suspended license and overdue child support who found himself homeless and unemployed after he served his country. He took our CDL Class B training class to turn his life around. Working with other agencies, NCIA helped get the flags on his driver’s license waived, secured a housing voucher and daily transportation tokens and set up a payment plan for child support. Tony became gainfully employed as a driver for a local bus company.
