Our HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration) training program prepares candidates for an entry-level position in the HVAC field, which is one that’s considered essential and is in high demand today.
When you complete this 15-week course, participants will earn the following accreditations:
- Basic Electricity
- OSHA 10 – Construction Safety Practices
- Basic Refrigeration and Charging Procedures
- EPA – Proper recovery techniques, refrigerant handling, and refrigerant logs
- Tools and Materials
- Maryland Apprenticeship License (Baltimore)

We strongly encourage participants to continue their education past our program by earning additional certificates and/or pursuing an apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree in Applied Science — Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Energy Technology. Once participants are ready, we’ll work with them for up to a year to help them secure a job that they love.
